Are you ready to lead the establishment of a quality culture in an international tech setting? Join us as a Software Engineer in Test at Wolven, where you will be instrumental in shaping our QA process from the ground up. From grasping detailed requirements to devising and enforcing QA policies, and crafting automated tests, your expertise will be pivotal. We seek a professional who not only possesses strong technical skills but also excels in strategizing and implementing robust QA frameworks to enhance the reliability and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

Help build a culture of quality from the ground up, from understanding system requirements to implementing QA policies.

Develop and execute automated tests across backend and frontend components to ensure robust, error-free software.

Implement and optimize CI tools and practices to streamline development processes.

Work closely with developers to identify, document, and resolve defects. Drive the continuous improvement of our QA processes and standards.

Must-Have Skills

Minimum of 10 years of experience in automation testing and DevOps with hands-on coding experience.

Experience developing and testing commercial mobile and web-based software.

Strong experience with software development life cycle, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud operations.

Strong development skills with SQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

Proficiency in English

Nice-to-Have Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Knowledge of serverless infrastructure.

Experience with JS/TS, Bash, Python.

Familiarity with Cypress, Postman, K6, Snyk.

Experience creating CI-CD pipelines using GitHub actions.

Background in EdTech, e-commerce, or content management software.

Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.

Experience with microservices or SOA; RESTful APIs, JSON.

Knowledge of AWS, Docker, Lambdas, DynamoDB.

Experience with DevOps, observability, and Infrastructure as Code.

Strategies for testing React and frontend components.
