As a Senior Back-End Developer at Wolven, you'll craft robust solutions that power innovative platforms for a global clientele ranging from dynamic startups to established e-commerce leaders. With a focus on using technologies like Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, and cloud services, your role is pivotal in shaping scalable systems that drive exceptional outcomes.
Develop and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems that support complex web applications.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Refine existing functionalities for improved performance and reliability through proactive refactoring and maintenance.
Continuously improve our development and deployment processes, embracing agile methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting best practices in software engineering and advocating for technological excellence.
Proficiency in backend programming with Ruby on Rails is mandatory; experience with Node.js or Python is a plus.
Strong experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.
Expertise in DevOps practices, including Observability and Infrastructure as Code.
Strong problem-solving skills
Availability to work full-time within Brasília time zone hours
Fluent in English
Experience in EdTech or eCommerce sectors
Familiarity with Kafka, Amazon MQ, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging systems.
Knowledge of relational databases and ORM frameworks.
